We founded Exposure Alaska
on over 15 years of experience in organizing expeditions, educational programs, trips and adventure tours in some of the most remote areas of the world, from Antarctica to Alaska.

We've combined our passion for helping people enjoy the outdoors and challenge themselves, and our desire to share a little of our lifestyle in this amazing place.

Our guides are some of the most educated and experienced in the business. Even if you're not looking for a job, check out our employment requirements with the link below to get some idea of our standards.

How Exposure is different...

Small Groups
No more than 6 guests on our scheduled trips. The smallest group size in the business so you won't feel like you're in a herd of caribou. We love kids, but only take them on custom trips.

Alaskan Owned and Operated
After living, working and traveling around the world, we've made this our home because there's really no place else on earth quite like it. Some adventure tour operators based "Outside" (the lower 48) send a couple of guides up to Alaska a week before the guests arrive.

Unique and challenging itineraries
Each Exposure experience is different. Rather than plod the same routes trip after trip, we make adjustments based on the capabilities of the guests, weather, and new opportunities off the beaten path.

Experience Alaska, don't just look at it through a lens.
This isn't Disney World, we think that in order to really experience what "The Last Frontier" has to offer you need get out of the van and away from the highway. You might get a little tired but the experience will be well worth the effort.

A different kind of pace
If you want to see the top tourist attractions between Denali and Homer in 6 days, there are plenty of guides who can take you there. Exposure programs take the time to get you away from the crowds and into the backcountry.

All-inclusive itineraries
Once we pick you up to start the trip you really need not pull out your wallet until we return you to Anchorage. No extra charges for any scheduled activities, meals or snacks.
